Microsoft Entourage was an e-mail client and personal information manager developed by Microsoft for Mac OS 8.5 and higher. Entourage was replaced by Outlook for Macintosh in Microsoft Office for Mac 2011, released on October 26, 2010. However, this email client is still popular among our users and therefore we prepared instructions for integrating a chat button with an email signature for it.
To add a chat button to your email signature, please do the following:
- In Entourage choose Tools / Signatures
- In the Signatures window click New
- Make sure the “Use HTML” button has been clicked
- Add chat button code
- Name your signature and close the window
The following steps will allow you to insert your new signature to all new emails automatically:
- Choose Tools / Accounts
- Select your email account and click the Edit button
- Click the Options tab and choose a default signature
