Outlook Express will work neither with Windows 7 and 8 nor Windows Vista. Outlook Express has been replaced with Windows Live Mail – which does work with Windows 7, 8 and Vista. However, it is still widely used by Windows XP users. This convenient and user friendly email client allows adding both a chat button and a chat link to the email signature.
To insert a chat button into your signature, please do the following:
- Follow My Account / Setup Instructions / Chat Button or Link for Emails page in your account Control Panel
- Save the code for chat button to an HTML file on your computer
- Go to Tools / Options… / Signatures
- Click on New button
- Check the radio button near “File” in Edit Signature section and click Browse
- Choose the file with the code you’ve previously saved
- Click OK
Please note!: the HTML file with your signature should not be removed since it will be used each time you add your signature
To insert a direct link to your Live Chat Visitor Messenger into your signature, please do the following:
- Go to Tools / Options… / Signatures
- Click on New button
- Check the radio button near “Text” in Edit Signature section
- Paste the direct link to your chat to the appeared field
- Click OK
